DIODE EINS

It was in January 2019 when three school friends from Neuss, Jannis, Julien, and Jerome, decided to act on their shared passion for electronic music and initiated the project Diode Eins. Initially fans of Drum n‘ Bass and Dubstep, the trio later discovered their love for Progressive/Melodic House in all its forms.

As residents of the event series Lichtblick, they have not only become an integral part of the Cologne music scene but have also made a name for themselves in clubs like Tanzhaus West, Sisyphos, Steelyard London, and Waagenbau. They have gained a foothold in Germany and Europe with releases on international labels such as Stil vor Talent, Mango Alley, Purified, Deep State, and Ritter Butzke Records.

For the trio, the process of musical creation is like a spiritual practice, dedicated to connecting people through emotions. Whether in the studio or on the dance floor, their focus is on evoking something in the audience and creating that indescribable energy that is so cherished in dance music. To achieve this, they constantly explore various sound worlds and strive to deliver something new and unknown – not only in their tracks but also in their energetic sets.
